Lazaro Arbos impressed the judges and audience on American Idol 2013 with his performance of  ”Feeling Good”  during the 10 male semi-finalists show!!

Contestant: Lazaro Arbos
Song: “Feeling Good” by Nina Simone (originally, it’s been covered by a lot of artists) || I am always shocked by Lazaro. His voice is amazing, and he seems to have so much control over it and next to no anxiety while he’s singing. As soon as the music goes off he’s a completely different person, though, and I don’t know how that will translate to winning the show.
Judges’ Comments: Just like last week, the crowd went absolutely wild for Lazaro. Keith says he loves how well Lazaro connects with the audience and that he did a great job. Nicki says she loved it, she loves Lazaro, that it was a very strong vocal, and that the “attitude” he added to the song was great. Randy says that Lazaro is definitely “in it to win it” and that “when he hits his sweet spot, you can just see his whole heart light up.” Mariah says she thinks people are going to love him and connect well with him, but she felt like perhaps the song was a little too low for him.
