On Monday night, the former Hole Singer took a break from giving a terrible show at New York City’s Fashion Week to share her opinion on Perry and Cyrus. Love states:
“I liked Miley, frankly. I’m gonna be honest, Katy Perry bores the s–t out of me. She’s a nice girl, she just really bores me. You know, that hillbilly Miley Cyrus is sort of punk in a weird sex way…[Katy] bores me. [Miley] was at least kind of punk rock, you know? It was openly sexual…like dark and hillbilly and f—ed up.”
Love continued, this time bashing Robin Thicke:
“Can someone inform me who Alan Thicke’s son is? Like what? Wasn’t [he on] Charles in Charge? That’s like Jared Leto trying to convince me he’s a rock star.”
I highly doubt that Perry will be heartbroken by what Love had to say about her. Love hasn’t been relevant in more than a decade and anytime anyone mentions her it is usually in a punchline.
While Love “praised” Cyrus, I don’t see Cyrus jumping for joy now that Love thinks she is sort of punk rock and a hillbilly. “Roar” is the number one song in the world and Cyrus is all that people are talking about so of course Love is trying to ride their coattails back to fame when she should be riding on the road back to sanity.
What do you think of Love’s comments? Agree? Disagree?
