It has been more than 3 years since Sandra Bullock’s marriage fell apart after a very public scandal which included her now ex-husband, Jesse James, cheating on her with multiple women, and now Bullock is speaking out on that time in her life.
Bullock sat down with Vogue to discuss what she went through:
“We’re all where we’re supposed to be. I am exactly where I want to be now. You can’t go backward. I’m not going backward. Nobody can be prepared for anything. If you end up in a place where you can look back and go, ‘It happened, but I’m so lucky to be sitting where I am sitting.”
Bullock, 49, also talks about her adopted son, Louis, and states that while she keeps rolling out hit after hit at the box office and while her career is busy, she won’t let it affect her son:
“I think this business can take the child out of kids so quickly. I don’t want him to have pressures brought on by what I do. I will quit. I will leave. If I see whatever I’m doing affecting him negatively, I will pack up and move to Alaska.”
It is nice to hear that Bullock has tried her best to move forward and not let that time in her life affect her son or her career. Bullock continues to have success and is one of the most likable women in Hollywood while James is gently revving up a motorcycle in his garage, wishing he was on Sons of Anarchy.
What do you think of Bullock’s comments?
