Gwyneth Paltrow did whatever she could to stop Vanity Fair from publishing a story about her. Her anger has lead to speculation about what Paltrow was trying to hide? It turns out the actress may be trying to cover up an affair.
The actress sent an email to all of her friends and associates requesting they do not speak to the magazine. The magazine has been digging and reportedly have been asking Miami society sources questions about Jeffrey Soffer, who owns the lavish Fontainebleau Hotel and recently married Elle Macpherson.
Page 6 is reporting,
“Vanity Fair is asking if Gwyneth had an affair with Jeff back in 2008 when he reopened the Fontainebleau. He flew her in for the party, and she stayed at his house.”
While the affair was a long time ago, she was married to Chris Martin, the Cold Play singer, at the time. The marriage was said to be rocky at the alleged time of the affair. Paltrow recently spoke about cheating and her forgiving nature, leading to further speculation she has something to hide.
As expected, Gwyneth’s people have said Soffer and the actress are friends. The question remains were they friends or friends with benefits?
