If a major storm threatens the big day, it is possible for the Super Bowl to change the day it’s played to anytime between Friday, January 31st and Monday, February 3, 2014.  With more than 80,000 fans descending on New Jersey, the safety of the people is the first priority.  With 60,000 tons of salt ready for the roads and more than 1,000 workers prepared to shoveled the snow out of the stadium, the chances of the Super Bowl day being changed are trying to be minimized.

Whenever the big game takes place, there will be free hats, earmuffs, quarterback style handmuffs and many more winter items distributed to the fans for free, with the hope of keeping everyone warm.

What do you think about Super Bowl Saturday?  Do you think the game should be played on Sunday – despite the weather??
