Unexpected Starting Problems

Host Phil Keoghan gathers the teams together with some serious news. Bopper has apparently had a pancreatic attack of some kind and the doctor, Dr. Horowitz, says he can’t participate as doing so could be fatal! Well, can there be a more dramatic start to The Amazing Race this season? It doesn’t seem so especially as Mark is in tears! Phil tells Mark he can still race but with another partner. Since Bopper is all for it, Mark agrees and gets matched with a fellow Kentuckian named Mallory.
