Contestant: Malaya
Song: ”Take Me To The King” by Tamela Mann
Performance Notes: Malaya got back behind her piano tonight, where she’s always stellar. And I think she did an amazing job this evening – her voice is incredible, and the song is quite beautiful. Oh man, and at the end when she belted out the high notes – wow. Just wow.
Judges’ Notes: Keith said that he loved the song (and the song choice), as well as seeing Malaya back at the piano and that he thought she did a great job. Jennifer said she was “with her from the very first moment she opened her mouth” and that she had goosebumps and tears in her eyes because it was such a beautiful performance.
