Dancing With the Stars Recap 3/16/15 – Season 20 Premiere
The 20th Season of Dancing With the Stars kicks off tonight, March 16, 2014 with 12 new celebrities who will be giving it their all, with the hopes of bringing the Mirror Ball Trophy home.
There are several singers, reality television stars, movie actresses, Olympians and professional football players on this season of Dancing With the Stars. This season will be competitive and fun to watch. The celebrities who will be dancing this season include Chris Soules, from The Bachelor, Suzanne Somers, Nastia Liukin, Patti LaBelle, Riker Lynch, Charlotte McKinney, Michael Sam, Rumer Willis, Noah Galloway, Robert Herjavec and RedFoo.
While we can expect more of the same this season on Dancing with the Stars with theme nights including Disney and Latin night, there will be some additions to theme night, including Spring Break Night.
The competition begins with the live two-hour season premiere. Dancing With the Stars will kick off with a spectacular opening number featuring the entire celebrity cast, choreographed by Emmy nominated, Mandy Moore. Each couple will then perform a Cha Cha, Foxtrot or Jive, vying for America’s vote. No one will be eliminated tonight, but one couple will be eliminated on Monday, March 23.
Viewers will also have more access to the show than ever before with #DWTSAllAccess. Viewers will have a chance to go behind the scenes where six live stream videos from different angles of the ballroom including: the Red Room, Judges’ Table, Sky Box, make-up mirror, a wide shot of the dance floor and an exclusive behind the scenes series hosted by Gethin Jones that will feature exclusive interviews with celebrity couples.
