David Hasselhoff Joins “American Idol”- Watch the Video HERE!

By on March 25, 2015

David Hasselhoff was all about “Knight Rider” and his talking car in the eighties. Such a beautiful time and to celebrate that, “American Idol” is having eighties night this evening. Eleven eighties songs but only nine performed. Boy George from Culture Club is the mentor and joined the singers for a rendition of “Karma Chameleon.” Everyone is so obsessed with seeing him and that is a good thing because before there was Boy George, there was the Hoff. Yes, David Hasselhoff handed Idol host Ryan Seacrest the results in an envelope at the very beginning. He then proceeded to put on sunglasses and do a medley of classic eighties songs. Let’s just say…oh just watch the video:

About two hundred songs in the matter of a minute and everyone was stunned. Social media had no idea what they were listening to and it was a huge joke. Literally, this was the biggest joke and though Hoff probably thought he was awesome, he was the biggest dork we have seen in a long time. He did not leave though as he stuck around. Why? We do not know as Tweeters mentioned that he is the creme de la creme in Germany.

The episode of “American Idol” also featured a performance of “Push It” by Salt N Pepa which was so much fun. It is actually amazing because most of the contestants, if not all of them, were not born in the eighties. Daniel Seavey was born in 1999 so he has no idea what a thigh master is or anything that was super fun for all of us. At least the judges Jennifer Lopez, Harry Connick Jr. and Keith Urban had a great time taking it back to the decade where the music was funky and the hair was super big!
