The iHeart Music Radio Awards hosted by Oscar and Grammy Award winner, Jamie Foxx will air live tonight from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on NBC.

The first year of the iHeart Music Radio Awards show was in 2014. Last year’s performances included recording stars Pitbull, Ariana Grande, Blake Shelton, Pharrell, Shakira, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Kendrick Lamar, Luke Bryan, Arcade Fire, Ed Sheeran, Bastille and Usher.

Beyoncé, Katy Perry, Imagine Dragons, Chris Martin, Lorde, Lil Jon, Hilary Duff, Joe Manganiello, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, Juanes, Bobby Bones, Steven Tyler, Lady Gaga, Gwen Stefani, Jennifer Lopez, Ryan Seacrest, Selena Gomez, Lionel Richie, Oprah Winfrey made special guest appearances.

Among the many winners of the 2014 awards, as chosen by fans using hashtags to cast more than 65 million votes across Facebook and Twitter, were Rihanna for artist of the year, Lorde for best new artist, Rihanna’s “Stay” for song of the year and “Demons,” from the Imagine Dragons, for alt rock song of the year.

This year we can expect another star-studded event with Justin Timberlake winning its most prestigious award of the evening, the 2015 iHeartRadio Innovator Award. iHeartRadio will honor Grammy and Emmy award winning artist Justin Timberlake for his unparalleled position in the entertainment world and will pay tribute to his significant contributions to the music industry.
Only a handful of musicians in history have transcended all artistic boundaries, whether through music collaborations, acting, comedy, variety, putting together one of the biggest albums in recent history or staging the biggest and most technically ambitious tour of the last 2 years.

Besides Justin Timberlake’s music career, he has starred in several films such as Inside Llewyn Davis, Trouble with the Curve; Friends with Benefits; Bad Teacher; In Time and many more. He has also hosted five memorable episodes of “Saturday Night Live” and several of his sketches have become viral video sensations, including “D**k in a Box,” which not only has been viewed over 100 million times on YouTube but earned Timberlake his first Emmy Award. He won a second Emmy Award in 2009 for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series for hosting “SNL.”
