Matthew McConaughey Dumped Penelope Cruz for Camila Alves – Revealed in Biography
A biography of actor Matthew McConaughey is set to be released on April 1, 2015, that will reveal the details of the actors love life before he married his wife, Camila Alves, his hair (or lack of it) and his drug filled past.
The biography reveals a long list of McConaughey’s former lovers, including Sandra Bullock, Ashley Judd, Renee Zellweger, Patricia Arquette and Penelope Cruz. McConaughey was a serial dater until he saw his wife, Camila Alves in a bar and dumped Penelope Cruz shortly after. It took more than a year for the couple to become exclusive and two years later, Alves gave birth to their first child, Levi.
Matthew McConaughey grew up in Texas, the youngest of three boys. While he intended to be a lawyer, McConaughey ended up going to school for acting since it was a more affordable option. Ironically, the turning point in his acting career came after Matthew starred in the movie, The Lincoln Lawyer, where he played a lawyer. The hit movie almost didn’t happen, as the actor considered giving up a career in acting after losing out to Leonardo DiCaprio as Jack in The Titanic.
Before meeting the love of his life, Camilla, the actor was viewed as a free loving, ladies man, who rarely wore clothes. He loved to play the drums in the nude while high on weed and was even arrested in 1999 and taken to jail when he resisted arrest, as well as a charge of marijuana possession.
Well known for the actor who starred in romantic comedies, such as The Wedding Planner, How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days and Ghosts Of Girlfriends Past, that all changed when McConaughey reinvent himself and took on more serious roles such as The Lincoln Lawyer and Dallas Buyers Club, which won him a Golden Globe and Oscar for Best Lead Actor in 2014.
He was also cast with Woody Harrelson in HBO’s critically acclaimed series True Detective.
