Sam Smith Diet Secrets – Lost 14 Pounds in 14 Days

We all know dieting is hard, you can diet and still end up not losing weight. If you are Grammy Award winner, Sam Smith then that it is a piece of cake (pun intended). The singer lost 14 pounds in 14 days and is talking about it, to help his fans get fit.

Smith is thanking a book by nutritionist, Amelia Freer, for his weight loss. He even went on Instagram, held up a photo of her book, “Eat. Nourish. Glow” and said,

‘Three weeks ago I met a woman who has completely changed my life. Amelia Freer has helped me lose over a stone in 2 weeks and has completely transformed my relationship with food.’ He continued, ‘It’s not even about weight loss it’s about feeling happy in yourself. Love you Amelia & thank you for making me feel so happy inside and out @ameliafreer #eatnourishglow’

While Sam did lose weight, we don’t know if he is being compensated for plugging Freer’s book or if he is just that happy and wants everyone to know how he did it.

Like many of us, Sam has stated in the past during an interview with The Guardian, ‘I think I prefer food to singing. Food is my favorite thing in the world.” We hear you Sam. Food is a pretty good thing.

Amelia’s book features 10 principals to live by, looking younger & feeling healthier. The book focuses on eliminating those bad eating habits and ignoring the latest fad diets (the 21 Day Fix Diet), while also introducing easy recipes to kick starting the new lifestyle plan.

Some of Freer’s tips include:

  • Cutting out processed foods and sugar
  • Stocking your fridge with fresh produce and lean proteins
  • Creating Healthy Habits One at a Time – to avoid failure

Becoming more conscious and mindful about what you eat.
