Suzanne Somers is the oldest contestant this season on Dancing With the Stars, at the age of 68.

An actress, author,trusted health advocate, very successful entrepreneur, and star of two hit TV series, Suzanne Somers will be adding dancer to her amazing resume this season on Dancing With the Stars.

Somers began her career playing the role of ditzy bombshell Chrissy Snow on the hit sitcomThree’s Company. Somers was abruptly fired from Three’s Company when she asked for a pay raise, as she was making a lot less than her male counterpart, Jon Ritter. Suzanne blames the producers of the television show for ruining what she believes could have been an amazing career in television.

Following Three’s Company, Suzanne went on to be a best selling author, in addition to an advocate of alternative drugs to manage cancer. Suzanne has also appeared in Playboy twice and was known for hawking the Thigh Master during the infomercial craze.

Suzanne Somers has written 25 books, including 13 New York Times bestsellers, five of which were #1 New York Times bestsellers. Somers will be appearing in a show called “SUZANNE’S NIGHTCLUB” at the Westgate Hotel Las Vegas beginning on May 23, 2015. She has received an Emmy nomination as Outstanding Host for “The SUZANNE Show,” her weekly series of one-hour health specials on Lifetime. She is a founder of ForeverHealth.com, an online resource to connect patients with doctors specializing in natural hormone therapy.
