“The Voice” has made it all the way to the Knockout Rounds for season eight and the game will change here. Whomever succeeds will make it to the live shows and that is where America can start to have a say in what happens. You can keep up with season eight of “The Voice” here.

tehvoiceeeeChristina Aguilera, Blake Shelton, Pharrell Williams and Adam Levine have composed, what they believe, to be the best teams to win the show. It started with blind auditions and then went right into the battle rounds. There, the coaches had help from mentors: Team Xtina had Nick Jonas; Team Blake had Meghan Trainor; Team Pharrell had Lionel Richie and Team Adam had Ellie Goulding. The coaches picked songs and would pin two of their team members against one another. They would then battle it out for a spot in the knockout rounds. If they were not chosen by their coach, they could be stolen by one of the other coaches as each one had two steals to use.

This helped reshape the teams and give eight hopefuls another chance. It also allowed the coaches to get people for their teams that they may have missed out on with the blind auditions. After a few weeks of battles and a lot of time and tears, it is now time for the knockout round. Each singer will choose a song but only one can outsing their teammate. Each coach gets a steal so they can now get back someone they may have lost during the battles. It is just a lot of fun to see the singers give all that they have in the fight to win this season of “The Voice.” Another key mentor Nate Ruess from FUN will help all the teams; we have seen Chris Martin and Taylor Swift take on that role before.

Tonight, the knockout round opens with top team members selecting their own song to perform individually.
