“American Idol’s” Top 7 performers will perform two songs tonight, April 15, 2015. The songs they will be singing will be American Classics.

This season of “American Idol” has been all about getting the fans to engage and become a part of the American Idol experience. Tonight’s song choice is no different. Several weeks ago, fans were asked to tweet song suggestions for an American Classics theme and based on the suggestions, the song choices have been made for the final seven, Jax, Nick Fradiani, Quentin Alexander, Joey Cook, Clark Beckham, Tyanna Jobes and Rayvon Owen, who made it into the final 7 with the help of America’s Save. You can keep up with season fourteen of “American Idol” here.

What can we expect from some of our favorite performers tonight? Jax is expected to sing Janis Joplin’s, Piece of My Heart, after giving hints on twitter and her second song is said to be Beat It by Michael Jackson.

Some other song spoilers that have been leaked onto the internet included the following:

  • Clark Beckham – “Moon River”; Stevie Wonder’s “Superstition”
  • Jax – Michael Jackson’s “Beat It”; Janis Joplin’s “Piece of My Heart”
  • Joey Cook – Jefferson Airplane’s “Somebody to Love”; “My Funny Valentine”
  • Nick Fradiani – Billy Joel’s “Only the Good Die Young”; Tom Petty’s “American Girl”
  • Quentin Alexander – Lenny Kravitz’s “Are You Gonna Go My Way”; Simon & Garfunkel’s “The Sound of Silence”
  • Rayvon Owen – Willie Nelson’s “Always on My Mind”; The Doobie Brothers’ “Long Train Runnin’”
  • Tyanna Jones – Creedence Clearwater Revival’s “Proud Mary”; Frankie Lymon & the Teenagers’ “Why Do Fools Fall In Love”

The top five contestants will sing their songs and the final two contestants who remain will have to sing for America’s save, much like on “The Voice.”  This means that anything can and will happen.

Who are you rooting for? Do you have a favorite? Who do you think is going home tonight based on American Idol performances from last week?

Keep reading to see who goes home!
