Bradley Cooper, Kim Kardashian and More Answer 4 Burning Questions at Time 100 Gala
The 100 Most Influential People in the world, according to Time Inc., attended a gala on April 21, 2015 in New York City where a number of the influential celebrities responded to four unusual questions including their favorite school lunch, how it felt to fall in love, what time is running out for them to do and the advice they would have given their younger self.
The celebrities who answered the questions included Bradley Cooper, Kim Kardashian, Amy Shumer, Emma Watson and many more!
The responses were definitely interesting and one of a kind, especially when asked what time was running out for them to do. Bradley Cooper wants to be friends with Matt Lauer. Is it too late for the actor and television anchor for The Today Show to become buddies?
As for advice for their younger selves, that we would probably all agree with? From don’t be afraid to be yourself, to having more confidence growing up, to relax because it is all going to work out, the celebrities are no different than the rest of us. There is something to be said for the adage, ‘If you only knew then what you know today.’
We have the questions and the celebrity responses below.
Time is running out for me to …
McGraw: “Enjoy my daughter’s youth.”
Kardashian: “There’s never enough time to spend with your family and the people that you love.”
Cooper: “Become friends with Matt Lauer.” (Lauer: “No, it isn’t!”)
Amy Schumer: “To have kids. I’m 33, but I can like feel my last egg about to drop.”
What advice would you have given your younger self?
Bradley Cooper: “Don’t be afraid to be yourself.”
Kim Kardashian: “I wish I had more confidence growing up.”
Diane von Furstenberg: “I realized really early on that I should be my best friend.”
Tim McGraw: “Relax, it’s going to work out.”
Laverne Cox: “You are actually anointed; you’re beautiful and your dreams will come true. You just have to continue to believe and work hard.”
Describe falling in love for the first time.
Bradley Cooper: “It’s something about not being able to breathe, but that being OK.”
Cox: “I didn’t think I deserved love, and I was not able to receive it when it happened and it was the scariest thing in the world.”
Emma Watson: “It’s like standing on the top of a very, very tall building and you feel a little nauseous and a little dizzy but basically really exhilarated.”
My favorite school lunch when I was a kid was …
Faith Hill: “Mashed potatoes and whatever it was that they put on top of it.”
Kardashian: “I always loved my best friend Allison’s lunch because she always got lots of Cheetos and Oreos and I was stuck with really healthy food.”
Watson: “I was a very fussy eater as a child. I was like very, very picky. I’d have the same thing every day: plain pasta.”
Schumer: “Peanut butter and banana sandwich with a little honey.”
What do you think about the advice the celebrities gave? Do you agree? And those lunches. Peanut Butter and Jelly seems to be the favorite for many.
