Photos: Celebs Attend 2015 White House Correspondents Dinner
The 2015 White House Correspondents’ Dinner took place Saturday, April 25, at the Washington Hilton Hotel, where celebrities, politician and media met up for a night of jokes and laughter at the President and media’s expense. Hosting the 2015 White House Correspondent’s Dinner was Cecily Strong, who is best known for role as a “Saturday Night Live” cast member.
The event was star-studded with celebrities such as Katie Couric, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, Chrissy Teigen, Laverne Cox, Tia Leoni, Julie Bowen, Jane Fonda, Michelle Trachtenberg, Ashley Judd,Eric Stonestreet, Ivanka Trump, Tony Roma, Martha Stewart, Bradley Cooper, Lucy Liu and many more in attendance.
President Obama made fun of himself joking about ‘the fourth quarter of his presidency’ saying things like:
“I feel more relaxed than ever, those Joe Biden massages are really helping.”
When asked by his advisors if he had a bucket list he said, “I have something that rhymes with bucket. Take executive action on immigration – bucket.”
“I look so old, John Behnar has already invited Netenyahu to speak at my funeral.”
Speaking about Joe Biden: “We’ve gotten so close, there are many places in Indiana who won’t serve us pizza anymore.”
Obama closed with his anger translator, “Luther,” who provided humor around Obama’s more serious words. The anger translator ended up leaving the podium and suggesting the President needed counseling rather than an anger translator.
We have the video of President Obama’s speech and photos of the attendees on the next page.
