General Hospital Recap for April 20 – April 24, 2015
This week on General Hospital….Spinelli and Sam get some dirt on Hayden; Jordan’s life is in danger; and the search for baby Avery continues.
Nathan bumps into Ellie—literally—and her latte spills all over him. Nathan removes his shirt, causing Ellie to gasp with appreciation at his physique. Nathan mentions the last time someone spilled someone on him, which was Spinelli. At the mention of her former boyfriend Ellie reveals who she is—and that she regrets encouraging Spinelli to explore his unfinished business with Maxie. She realizes now that she overreacted and wants him back. Nathan, too, confesses that he wants to reunite with Maxie. What do they do now? Meanwhile Lulu brings Rocco over for a playdate with Georgie. While the kids play, Maxie shares that she feels good about her reunion with Spinelli, but still has lingering feelings for Nathan. In turn Lulu confides that she still hates her cousin Valerie. She doesn’t feel that Valerie will harm Luke or Rocco, but something is off about that girl!
Dante returns home, exhausted from searching for baby Avery. He is disappointed that Lulu is not there, and surprised that Valerie is packing. Valerie explains that she will return home, but Dante convinces her to stay in Port Charles to get to know her extended family. Grateful Valerie cooks dinner for Dante and ends up crying over her plate as she remembers her mom. Dante gives her a comforting hug—just as Lulu and Rocco return home! Naturally Lulu is angry to see her husband hugging her newfound cousin. Lulu quickly lets it be known that she wants Valerie to move out, so she calls various relatives, before settling on Nikolas, who has the most space.
Carly sees Elizabeth and Ric arrive a romantic dinner at the Metro Court. She suddenly realizes that Ric is the guy who bankrolled Hayden and pounces on him. Later Spinelli reports that he saw Hayden sealing some kind of deal with a mystery guy, but unfortunately, he did not get a clear look at the guy—or a clear photo. Carly orders Spinelli to get back on the case!
At Wyndemere Nikolas panics when he opens his safe and sees that Jason’s wedding ring is missing. Spencer returns and reluctantly admits he tried to give it to Emma. Furious Nikolas storms out (after grounding Spencer) and heads to the Drake house, where Jake has found Jason’s ring. Jake doesn’t know that it’s actually his, and gives it to Sam, who bursts into tears. How did Jason’s ring end up under Patrick’s couch? Maybe Robin left it there? Patrick shakes his head. Robin hasn’t been home in months. There is no way the ring came from her. Emma returns home and explains Spencer tried to give that ring to her, but she forgot about it. Sam is about to head over to Wyndemere when Nikolas arrives. Sam shows Jason’s ring to Nikolas and asks him to explain how Spencer came to have it. Nikolas spins a yarn about Helena taking it from Jason, and he getting it from Helena, and how he meant to return it to Sam, but forgot when Spencer got hurt. Everyone buys this and later Sam sadly drops it into a canister for safekeeping. She tells Patrick that this was the closure that she needed.
Back at the Metro Court Hayden comes downstairs for a drink, but tries to leave when she sees Carly talking with Ric and Elizabeth. Unfortunately Carly spies Hayden and drags her over to the table. Hayden is happy to see Elizabeth reunited with Ric and reiterates her lie that she and Jake have consummated their marriage. Carly calls Hayden out on that lie, so Hayden makes a hasty exit. Later Hayden finds herself on Spoon Island and entices Nikolas into round two and three of “let’s have hot sex, but not talk about our secrets.” Meanwhile Jake returns to the hotel just in time to see Elizabeth with Ric. The sad look on his face reinforces Carly’s resolve to find out once and for all who is behind Hayden’s lies.
Spinelli returns home to Maxie and baby Georgie where Maxie has cooked dinner and they discuss Lucy’s request for them to perform at the Nurses’ Ball. Actually Lucy asked Spinelli and Ellie because she doesn’t know that they broke up. Spinelli proposes that he and Maxie do something together, but Maxie doesn’t think he will have time because of the case he is working on for Carly. She suggests that he bring in Sam to help. Meanwhile Lucy sees Ellie talking with Nathan at Kelly’s. She is saddened to hear that Ellie and Spinelli broke up, and surprised that Maxie and Spinelli have reunited. She suggests that Ellie and Nathan become friends and practically forces them to attend the Nurses’ Ball together! Ellie thinks that is a horrible idea, but Nathan convinces her that the sight of them together will make Maxie and Spinelli reconsider their choices.
