Kris Jenner and The Kardashian Clan Speak Out About Bruce Jenner Coming Out as a Woman
Kris Jenner was married to Bruce Jenner for 25 years. The couple split last year, amid speculation that Bruce Jenner wanted to be a woman. After months of rumors, Jenner sat down with Diane Sawyer and confirmed the news saying, “For all intents and purposes, I am a woman.”
Speaking about his life as an Olympic Athlete and living his life as a man, but realizing he was really a woman, Jenner frequently cried throughout the interview but expressed happiness and relief at finally opening up about it. He was giddy at being able to show Diane Sawyer a sexy black dress he planned on wearing for a private dinner with her.
Following Bruce’s revelation twitter blew up with comments from celebrities, fans and his family, touting him as a hero. A hero for speaking out about his need to be a woman and what he is doing to live his life as his true self.
His daughter Kylie expressed how hard this has been for her saying,
“Understandingly, this has been very hard for me. You will hear what I have to say when I’m ready to but this isn’t about me. I’m so proud of you, Dad. You are so brave. My beautiful Hero.”
Kendall Jenner said,
“I love you. So proud of you, my hero.”
Kourtney Kardashian, his step-daughter said,
“Couldn’t be a more proud daughter. With courage and bravery, let’s change the world. I am honored to stand by Bruce’s side and support him.”
Kim Kardashian stated,
Love is the courage to live the truest, best version of yourself. Bruce is love. I love you Bruce. #ProudDaughter
Kris Jenner tweeted,
“Not only was I able to call him my husband for 25 years and father of my children, I am now able to call him my hero.”
Bruce’s bravery was clear as he spoke to Sawyer.
It has been confirmed by E!News that Bruce Jenner’s Journey will be televised in a new documentary series with Bruce Jenner living his life as a transgender woman. The series will tell Bruce’s intimate story and will join him as he seeks out his “new normal.” The docuseries will also explore what Bruce’s transition means for the people in his life and how those relationships are affected, while offering a better understanding of many of life’s challenges.
The yet to be titled series will be an eight-part, one-hour series and will premiere Sunday, July 26 at 9:00pm on E!.
