Hosted by LL Cool J and commentary by Chrissy Teigen, each episode will feature two A-list celebrities, who will sing while lip synching. The new series will feature celebrities going head to head – lip-syncing the song of their choice – battling for the coolest bragging rights on the planet. The show has been created by Jimmy Fallon and John Krasinski.

The Lip Synch Battle premiered with Jimmy Fallon vs Dwayne Johnson. Jimmy Fallon sang Madonna’s, ‘Like a Prayer,’ and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson sang, ‘Stayin Alive,’ by the Bee Gees.

Jimmy seemed to really be enjoying himself during his version of ‘Like a Prayer,’ acting it out and dancing away. He was even joined by a choir, to help him win bragging rights. But did it work??

After the battle, LL Cool J, spoke to Jimmy who referred to the choir as his entourage and they go everywhere together. Jimmy said they ‘were all like a child whispering to me.’

Following Jimmy’s performance, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, sang ‘Stayin Alive,’ where he dressed like John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever and even did the pelvic thrust. The crowd loved his performance – but again, was it enough to win against Jimmy Fallon.

Fallon came out and bowed to him.

I guess that means Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson won the Lip Synch Battle?

We have the video on the next page. Check it out and let us know what you think about the performances and who should have won the battle.
