The episode opens with Eleanor examining a painting of herself. She gets a text from Beck, but blocks the number. She asks Jasper where he is. Liam and Opehlia cuddle in bed. Liam gets a message on his phone, and it turns out paparazzi got photos of her flashing her chest at Liam. He explains they’re in for trouble, but they can deal. Helena gets the news too, and she’s furious- as is Ophelia’s father. When they arrive in his office, he asks for a moment alone with his daughter. Eleanor goes to leave for the day and is confused to find a new security detail. Ophelia’s father lays into her about the upcoming drama and essentially grounds her until the story blows over, but she denies him and leaves to go to her dance class. She meets Eleanor, who tries to give her a pep talk. Ophelia and Liam head to the dance class, and she sees some of the headlines and isn’t so happy. Eleanor goes to see Ophelia’s father about trying to get Jasper back, and he says Jasper left due to personal issues about her. A few rooms over, Cyrus and Helena talk about the referendum finally being publicized. She tells him Simon went to see the Prime Minister. She asks that he go find Simon to reason with him. Cyrus agrees and hurries off. Her assistant comes by to tell her the Grand Dutchess has arrived. Helena’s less than thrilled, and goes to meet the woman- her mother. The pair are cold around each other.
In town, Ophelia and Liam prepare to face the press as they leave the limo. Liam distracts them with answers that’re more about his family. Cyrus finds Simon in the family moseleum, also glancing down at his wedding ring. He asks if divorce is coming, then talks fate and how the monarchy is good for him. Simon tells him off.
