“The Voice” has now cut the competition in half, slowly but surely and now we are down to the top ten singers. You can keep up with season eight of “The Voice” here.

'the voice teams are chosen'Last week, we saw Team Adam Levine and Team Pharrell Williams lose a member of their teams with the Twitter Insta-save. The bottom of three ended up being Brian Johnson and Deanna Johnson from Adam and Mia Z. from Pharrell. It was so close but in the end, Brian and Mia were sent home. Here is who is left standing:

  3. MEGHAN LINSEY (Blake)
  4. JOSHUA DAVIS (Adam)
  5. INDIA CARNEY (Xtina)
  6. HANNAH KIRBY (Blake)
  7. KORYN HAWTHORNE (Pharrell)
  8. ROB TAYLOR (Xtina)

This means that Team Blake Shelton and Team Christina Aguilera are still in tact but that could all change after this evening’s performances. The teams have had plenty of mentoring not only from their coaches but from additional members. For the battle rounds, Adam Levine brought in Ellie Goulding; Blake Shelton brought in Meghan Trainor; Pharrell Williams brought in Lionel Richie and Christina Aguilera brought in Nick Jonas. For the Knockout Rounds, the show brought in Nate Ruess of FUN as the key mentor and now, it’s all about singing for your life! Here are the songs that will be sung this evening:

“Unwound” by George Strait
“Run to You” by Whitney Huston
“Make it Rain” by Ed Sheeran
“Something’s Got a Hold on Me” by Etta James
“Iris” by The Goo Goo Dolls
“Shout” by Tears for Fears
“Home” by Marc Broussard
“A Song For You” by┬áDonny Hathaway
“Somebody to Love” by Jefferson Airplane
“Hold Back the River” by James Bay

It is bound to be an amazing night and an important night because this means that two more singers will be sent home tomorrow evening. We do not want to see anyone leave but it is just in the name of the game.

Keep reading to see how they perform.
