“The Voice” is getting ready to cut down some more singers and this race is super tight. You can keep up with season eight of “The Voice” right here.

There are ten finalists left and by 9p.m. this evening, there will be eight. America has voted and then, when it comes to the last ten minutes, we will hopefully be able to use the Twitter Insta-save. This will enable us to decide who will be the eighth finalist of “The Voice” for the season. There has been a lot of help given to the coaches and their team. When it came to the battle rounds, each coach got to have a mentor by their side to prepare the singers to go against each other. Adam Levine had Ellie Goulding; Pharrell Williams had Lionel Richie; Christina Aguilera had Nick Jonas and finally, Blake Shelton had Meghan Trainor. It was then time for the Knockout Rounds where the singers went head to head with songs of their choosing. Their key mentor would be Nate Ruess from the band FUN and they were all so excited.

Now, we are live and there are ten singers left. Here they are:

  3. MEGHAN LINSEY (Blake)
  4. JOSHUA DAVIS (Adam)
  5. INDIA CARNEY (Xtina)
  6. HANNAH KIRBY (Blake)
  7. KORYN HAWTHORNE (Pharrell)
  8. ROB TAYLOR (Xtina)

They all sang last night but they had help from four top producers in the music industry. Marc Ronson, Ryan Tedder, Scott Hendricks and Dave Stewart each took on a team and it was the most impressive night that we have had this season. Everyone excelled and there was a lot of hope put into all ten as I think the coaches forgot that there is only room for eight.

Keep reading to see who makes it to the top eight.

Let’s kick the show off with a performance by Pharrell and his team! They chose “I Don’t Wanna Be” by Gavin DeGraw. But that is not the best part as Reba will be performing! I love Reba.

Joshua is a super singer, but his performance this week was sub-par. Rob can sing the birds off a cliff, and he did a much better job than Joshua. Sad to lose him. Deanna is darling and has a stellar voice. She needs much more seasoning and may never be truly comfortable on stage.

    Love the show!
