salute bitches

Last week Younger’s episode was focused on the “Girl Code” in the female world. The episode weighed in on what makes for good girl code and bad girl code. We also got a glimpse into Maggie’s art world and her upcoming project which didn’t end so well for her with the gallery and her opening. The beginning of the episode showed Liza and Kelsey in an unusual yet hilarious situation of Kelsey’s goddess cup getting stuck. Liza has to go in, bare handed by the way, and help Kelsey remove it, she succeeds and Kelsey says she’s the real deal and she’s got her back. Diana shows her jealous side when it seems that her eye candy Charles is more into Liza and her smarts rather than her and her work ethic, which she holds herself high on and highly values. Maggie and Liza take a trip to an art gallery opening exhibit and Kelsey tags along with her friends. When they get to the gallery, the event is bigger than expected and Maggie wants nothing more than to meet with the owner to discuss her upcoming project and exhibit. He brushes her off throughout the party leaving Liza to cater to Kelsey and her extremely bored friends. After a while of not being able to stop Maggie from lingering and mingling with everyone at the party, Liza decides to leave with Kelsey and her friends. They get to a bar and get wasted, leaving Liza to not pay attention to her phone while Maggie is trying to reach her with news of her being removed from the gallery and let go. Liza is accepted into the inner circle after some shots and makes it home drunk to an upset Maggie. At the end Liza pulls a Pretty Woman moment and wins Maggie’s friendship back with the help of Kelsey finding Maggie a pop up gallery of her own.
