“American Idol” started at the very beginning of the year and now the search is over and it has come down to two singers: Clark Beckham and Nick Fradiani. You can keep up with season fourteen of “American Idol” right here.

No one knew if this show would be renewed so they definitely got it right when choosing the top twelve. Idol will celebrate its fifteenth and final season next year but for now, let’s prepare to declare one guy the winner. Last night was rough. At the very beginning, Ryan Seacrest had to narrow the playing field down from three singers to two. The one who was sent home was JAX and I will be honest, I was not happy. Nick, in my opinion was a guarantee in the finale as he has been consistent and has been a fan favorite all along. However, I just did not know if Clark had what it took to take it all the way but he did and now it is between the nice Southern boy (Clark) and the hottie from Connecticut (shout out to my home state). They performed three songs a piece last night, one chosen by Simon Fuller, one of their choosing and then they broke out the original song that will technically be their first single.

Honestly, I do not know who is going to win. We have had the dynamo and the quiet one before and it is really up to America’s preference. The judges, Jennifer Lopez, Harry Connick Jr. and Keith Urban all expressed how important voting is as last night’s final vote came down to .4% separation. It will be that close tonight but it will be great to see our idols back together on one stage together again. I cannot wait to see the duets and the song choices and ultimately, who takes the title. Who are you rooting for?

Keep reading to see who becomes the season fourteen winner of “American Idol.”
