Forcing the Men on The Bachelorette to Box Causes Outrage from Viewers
The Bachelorette with Kaitlyn Bristowe is proving to be a very controversial season and we are only in the second week. First the idea of two bachelorettes, Britt Nilsson and Kaitlyn Bristowe, vying for the role of The Bachelorette caused outrage among viewers and even some of the Bachelor family, then Kaitlyn’s sexual exploits for all to see is bringing the label ‘easy’ to the forefront and now the men having to box each other is the final straw with a number of viewers.
On the third episode of the season we have eight contestants going on a group date with Laila Ali, who teaches them how to punch before sending them into the ring for one minute, where they are pitted against another contestant. One of the men comments to the camera, that he has never had a fight in his life. It isn’t until Jared gets injured during the final boxing match that Kaitlyn says to the cameras, maybe this wasn’t such a good idea. Really Kaitlyn? Why you would think that having eight men battle it out for you by boxing was ever a good idea is causing outrage among fans.
We have the complete recap from The Bachelorette with Kaitlyn episode 3 here!
Some of the comments that have been made surrounding the date included:
“You lost me by having the men “fight” each other for the debatable pleasure of dating Kaitlyn. What could that possibly prove ?”
“that was really a stupid idea from a stupid person (Kaitlyn?)”
“Stupid, Stupid Stupid,Lame, etc. No real woman wants to see violence, even if it is fighting over her. To actually have people get hurt? What are you thinking? I am appalled and disgusted. It should not be about pitting the guys against each other in such a violent manner. This was supposed to be about fun.”
Those were only a few of the comments that were expressed following the show. The tide seems to be turning against Kaitlyn, with viewers calling her fake and not liking her very much. It is only going to get worse from here, especially since we have seen promos of Bristowe confessing things went too far. We have all assumed she has meant sexually – but we will have to wait until the episode actually airs to confirm that. She has had her tongue in more mouths in the three episodes of The Bachelorette then some Bachelors and Bachelorettes have had in an entire season.
What do you think about Kaitlyn going along with the fighting for her? While the stand up comedy may not have been funny with Amy Schumer, at least no one got hurt. At least physically. Maybe their egos were hurt a bit, but that was it.
