Maroon 5 Forced to Cancel Concert- Adam Levine’s Vocal Chords A Mess!

By on May 30, 2015

When Adam Levine and his band Maroon 5 sang their new single “This Summer’s Gonna Hurt Like A Motherf****r,” I do not think he realized how much. “The Voice” coach has been forced to cancel a concert in Liverpool siting vocal chord problems. This should not be a surprise as he just finished the bands American tour while he was coaching on season eight of “The Voice.” He was also performing on the show and giving interviews so by the time Levine went overseas, he should have taken a break. Adam Levine, also a spokesperson for Proactiv, has his own clothing line and was most recently in the news for being sugar-bombed. One of Maroon 5’s most recent singles was called “Sugar” so when Levine exited a late-night show, a fan threw a sack of sugar at him, which led him to flip his lid.

Now, he is dealing with throat problems, sharing via Twitter: “Guys, I HATE having to let you down tonight. My cords [sic] are toast. We resume Sunday in Birmingham. Apologies. :(.” Prior to the tweet, Levine had this to say as well: “I am really sorry not to be able to perform tonight, but I have been told to rest up by the doctor. As a band we always want to give every performance our all and sadly I just cannot do that tonight.” Fans are able to get refunds for their tickets in Liverpool as the band has not rescheduled the show. They just arrived for the European part of their tour for their album “V” about a week ago. Fortunately, Levine’s supermodel wife is there to make everything better or at least comfort him for the time being.

People Magazine’s former “Sexiest Man Alive” got a great gift from wife Behati Prinsloo, who is featured in Maroon 5’s “Animals” video, added Levine to her moniker. Makes me jealous, makes Adam happy and right now, he is the one we care about. Luckily, Adam has seen the doctor and had this to say:  So all those fans who wanted to see the band Sunday will get to see one of the most amazing concerts ever (I have been like two or three or more times). I just hope that he does not push himself too far and damage his voice even further or this summer really will hurt like a…well, you know how the new single goes; no need to explain.
