Bobbi Kristina Brown Is Now In Hospice Care
Bobbi Kristina Brown has remained unresponsive since she was found in her bathtub in Atlanta on January 31st. It just so happened to be the weekend of the Grammy’s, which was the same weekend that her mother Whitney Houston had passed away on in 2012. It was her husband Nick Gordon and a friend who found the twenty-two year old in the tub and immediately called the ambulance. It had appeared that she had been underwater for a while by the time the medics got to the house. At the same time that the world was praying for Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown’s daughter, the media revealed that Bobbi was actually never married to Nick.
He ended up in rehab after aunt Pat Houston requested a restraining order to keep him away from the hospital where the family was sitting vigil. Bobby was flown to Atlanta privately by friend Tyler Perry upon hearing about Bobbi’s condition. She remained on life support and has since the January incident and family sources have told People Magazine that: “The family and her father (Bobby Brown) are just taking things one day at a time. She’s just in God’s care and it’s whatever he decides.”
According to doctors, who had placed Bobbi in a medically induced coma, she has: “global and irreversible brain damage.” There has been a lot of scrutiny around the family at this time as Bobby Brown went out and celebrated his birthday with twenty friends while his daughter was facing death. He also announced that his wife Alicia Etheredge are expecting a baby together. So, what is next for Bobbi?
Pat Houston released the statement that said: “Despite the great medical care at numerous facilities, [her] condition has continued to deteriorate. As of today, she has been moved into hospice care. We thank everyone for their support and prayers. She is in God’s hands now.” Is this the end for Bobbi? Is the family doing the right thing by keeping her alive? I think that she should be at peace with her mother but that is just me.
