Bristol Palin Claims 2nd Pregnancy Was Planned and She Wasn’t Paid to Talk About Abstinence
Once again, Bristol Palin has taken to her website to tell the world she is very happy she is pregnant and the pregnancy was planned.
When Palin first announced the news of her pregnancy, she sounded less than happy, saying that she knew it was a disappointment to her friends and family. As she is being judged all over the internet, having been the face of abstinence following her first pregnancy with her son Tripp, Palin defended herself by saying she made a mistake. Her second pregnancy wasn’t the mistake and it was actually planned. She was engaged to Dakota Meyers, but unfortunately, the couple ended up breaking up a week before the wedding. At that point it was too late, since as she said, “I got a little ahead of myself.”
She took to the website to make it clear that she does not regret the baby, it is not a disappointment and she is looking forward to being the mother of two children. She even posted a photo of the sonogram, with the title, “My Little Blessing.” While Palin knew she would be completely crucified, when the world heard the news of her second out of wedlock pregnancy, she never considered abortion as she is pro-life.
Below you will find Palin’s complete statement about her second pregnancy.
“So here are the things you should all get straight before you continue to mock me, judge me, and talk about me.
None of us are perfect.
I made a mistake, but it’s not the mistake all these giddy a$$holes have loved to assume.
This pregnancy was actually planned.
Everyone knows I wanted more kids, to have a bigger family. Believing I was heading that way, I got ahead of myself. Things didn’t go as planned, but life keeps going. Life moves on.
But I do not regret this baby. This baby is not a disappointment, and I cannot wait to be a mom times two. Tripp is going to make the best big brother!!
Let’s get another thing straight, because I can’t tolerate all the talk on this subject. I have never been paid as an “abstinence spokesperson.” I was employed by the great people at The Candies Foundation, they are a teen pregnancy prevention non-profit and I worked for them when I was 18 and 19.”
What do you think about Palin saying the pregnancy was planned and do you believe she really wasn’t paid to be the face of abstinence? Leave a comment and let us know.
