Caitlyn Jenner’s Surgery to Become a Woman – How Much Did It Cost?
It hasn’t been an easy road for Caitlyn Jenner, formerly known as Bruce Jenner. Bruce’s transition was a costly process that involved several surgeries in order for him to become a her, now known as Caitlyn Jenner.
Caitlyn Jenner completed her transition on March 15, 2015, prior to appearing on the cover of Vanity Fair magazine. What exactly did Caitlyn Jenner do to achieve her amazing transformation?
Facial Feminization Surgery – took 10 hours and cost more than $50,000. The plastic surgeon, Harrison Lee has spoken about the process saying the facial feminization included a brow lift and a reshaping of her jaw bone. Breast Augmentation – also known as breast implants has an average cost of $4,000 in the United States, which means it costs close to $10,000 in Los Angeles, where Caitlyn had her surgery. The cost doesn’t include anesthesia fees, the hospital or surgical facility costs or prescriptions for medication.
Adam’s Apple Shaved – this surgery was completed last year. The usual cost is $6 – $8,000.
Genital Surgery – to remove the penis. Caitlyn has said this is the last thing on his list of things to do.
Other surgeries that would help to make her appear more feminine include liposuction, to achieve the hourglass shape women are known for.
