General Hospital Recap for 6/22/15 – 6/26/15
This week on General Hospital…..Luke and Laura continue to search for Lucky; Dante becomes suspicious of Lulu and Dillon; and Nikolas takes over ELQ.
At the Triple L diner Luke and Laura draw their guns as the door opens. They are stunned to see Jennifer Smith, daughter of mobster Frank Smith and one-time fiancée of Luke. Apparently she hasn’t aged at all—or she is a recast. (Just looked it up. Recast!) After some insults and expository bantering, Jennifer makes her motives clear: she wants one night with Luke—or Lucky dies. All together now: EW! Laura protests as Luke tries to look heroic. Jennifer explains she tried to move on from Luke, but blames their never consummated relationship as the reason why she could never be fully happy. She gleefully orders Laura to make them breakfast in bed as Laura accuses Jennifer of rape. Jennifer thinks that would be poetic justice considering how Luke and Laura met, but Laura insists this is just whacked out twisted. (Sing it, sister!) In the end Luke goes with Jennifer as Laura watches with disgust.
The next morning Laura breaks down the hotel room door to find the place in shambles: overturned lamps, empty wine bottles, and Luke with a torn shirt. Jennifer confirms that they did not sleep together. Luke passed out before things got interesting. Jennifer laments that now she will never get the closure she needs and reveals that she doesn’t have Lucky. Someone called her and told her to use Lucky’s kidnapping as leverage against Luke!
Back in Port Charles Valerie approaches Lulu’s door and overhears Dillon and Lulu agreeing to keep a secret from Dante. Valerie puts her suspicions aside to tell Lulu that she is not after Dante. Lulu admits she had her doubts, but agrees to a truce. Later Valerie finds Dante at the PDPC and announces she has something to tell him: Lulu is keeping a secret from him! And it has something to do with Dillon.
At the Quartermaine mansion Tracy and Sabrina wait for news from Michael, Jake, and Sam. Sabrina folds baby clothes as Tracy calls Brook Lynn to see if anyone approached her for her shares. Brook Lynn admits someone did (but it’s not clear if she admits someone blackmailed her). Dillon arrives to assure his mom he did not sell his shares to Nikolas. Tracy does the math and realizes that Nikolas owns half of ELQ.
At ELQ Rosalie enters Michael’s office to find Michael with Jake and Dante. They tell her she is under arrest for company espionage—unless she tells him who her employer is. Rosalie eventually admits she was being blackmailed into helping Nikolas. She apologizes to Michael, who expresses his deep regret and hurt. Dante takes Rosalie to the station to write her statement as Michael thanks Jake for his help.
Sam joins her cousin Nikolas at the Metro Court Restaurant where she accuses him of taking over ELQ. Nikolas freely admits he is, but it’s all for the family, including her and Danny! Helena and Victor pretty much left the Cassadine fortune nothing more than a box of cheap treasures. Sam snarls that Danny is also a Quartermaine and it’s not right for Nikolas to rob one side of Danny’s family to benefit the other. Nikolas calmly says he’s not stealing, but merely making better business decisions. Ha! So true.
