Josh Duggar Molested Jill and Jessa Duggar
When Josh Duggar revealed he molested five girls, we understood his sisters were among the victims. It was never revealed which sisters were molested by Josh, but it has now come to light the family victims were Jill and Jessa Duggar. The sisters confirmed the news during their interview with Megyn Kelly that will be aired on Fox News on Wednesday, June 3, 2015. We will be covering the interview of the Duggar family live here.
On May 21, 2015, Josh Duggar made a statement admitting to the fact that he molested five people.
“Twelve years ago, as a young teenager, I acted inexcusably for which I am extremely sorry and deeply regret. I hurt others, including my family and close friends. I confessed this to my parents who took several steps to help me address the situation. We spoke with the authorities where I confessed my wrongdoing, and my parents arranged for me and those affected by my actions to receive counseling. I understood that if I continued down this wrong road that I would end up ruining my life.”
Since there have been allegations against Josh Duggar, it has come to light there is a possibility that the executives at TLC were aware that Duggar was accused of molesting his sisters and friends of the family. Despite knowing, they aired 19 Kids and Counting.
During tonight’s episode we will see Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar speak. In the promos we see Michelle say that there was “so much grief in our hearts” when their son approached them to confess what he had done. “I think, as parents, we felt, ‘We’re failures.’ We’ve tried to raise our kids to do what’s right – to know what’s right – and yet one of our children made some really bad choices and I think, as a parent, just … we were devastated.”
Both Jill and Jess Duggar have moved forward with their lives. They both have gotten married and Jill Duggar has a son, Israel with her husband, Derick.
The future of Josh Duggar looks bleak. Now that he has been labeled a molester, he will find it hard to find a job or friends going forward.
