Lamar Odom Mourns Loss of Second Friend In A Week

By on June 21, 2015

Lamar Odom’s friends and family really should be concerned about his well-being as another one of his friends has passed away, according to a report in US Weekly. Producer/writer Bobby Heyward has died of a drug overdose this past Saturday. He was thirty years old. Last week, Jamie Sangouthai, who appeared on “Khloe and Lamar” and helped Lamar with his clothing company died at the age of thirty-seven from what was thought to be an overdose but actually was not. It was not an overdose but rather a flesh eating disease that was caused by, well, drugs. So yes, drugs did play a factor in Jamie’s death as is the same with Bobby.

We know that Lamar and Jamie grew up together and he was in Odom’s wedding to Khloe Kardashian. After his passing, Khloe actually missed niece North’s birthday party thrown by sister Kim and husband Kanye West. Though sources told US that Bobby died from a drug overdose but the coroner has yet to release an official cause of death to the public. When Jamie had passed, Bobby posted a photo of him and his boys on Instagram with the caption: “#RIP To my big brother Jamie who always brought light into any room he walked into and laughter as well at all times J you will always be missed. Family for life. #BandOfBrothers #tbt.”

This may have hit him harder than he would have ever expected and it is being reported that Lamar was “beside himself” after Jamie died. We know that Lamar battled addiction so one would wonder if this would lead him back to his old behavior. We are truly hoping that this is a learning experience for him, one that I believe will bring Khloe and Lamar closer, as long as he does not hurt her again. We saw in the previews for “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” that she is still flirting with him so let’s see how this goes. We send our thoughts and prayers to those who knew and loved Bobby.
