After the war of words the two have had over the past six years since son Tripp was born, it is amazing that Bristol Palin’s ex-fiance Levi Johnston would jump to her side. You may remember that he was thrust in the media when Palin’s mother Sarah was running for Vice President in 2008 after he impregnated a seventeen-year old Bristol. The Palin’s are all about religion so pre-marital sex was the last thing that they wanted to deal with, especially in Politics. The couple ended up getting engaged, I think to validate the pregnancy but eventually broke up.

Though custody has been an ongoing issue, TMZ reports that despite all of that, Levi stands behind Bristol, 24 during her second pregnancy. Who is he to judge especially after he posed for Playgirl? The duo had gotten engaged again after they broke up and appeared on US Weekly, talking about how happy they were. They cashed in because soon after, they were dunzo again. Levi, 25 has gone on to marry Sunny Oglesby and they have a daughter Breeze, 2. Palin was supposed to marry Dakota Meyer last month but it was Sarah Palin who revealed that the wedding was off.

Then, it was announced via Bristol’s blog that she was pregnant: “I know this has been, and will be, a huge disappointment to my family, to my close friends, and to many of you. But please respect Tripp’s and my privacy during this time. I do not want any lectures and I do not want any sympathy.” She said shortly after that this was a planned pregnancy but no one knows who the father is for some reason. As for Levi, he has said to TMZ: “She’s a great mom.” He has also said that he will do what he can for his son’s mother during this difficult and interesting time. Will they end up together in the end? That would be a real twist of fate if ever I have heard one.
