First Photo: Princess Charlotte and Prince George in Family Photos
If there was ever a doubt that Prince George is absolutely adorable, the official family portraits of the Prince holding his younger, baby sister, Princess Charlotte will definitely clear that up.
It looks like Kensington Palace is really getting the art of social media, teasing the release of the photos earlier in the day saying on Twitter,
“We’ll be posting a very special photo of Prince George & his little sister Princess Charlotte late tonight. Can’t wait to share it with you!”
As promised, Kate Middleton and Prince William released the first official photo of their daughter Princess Charlotte being held by their older brother, Prince George. The photo was taken by the Duchess of Cambridge herself. The Kensington Palace tweeted the information from Twitter saying,
“The photo of Prince George and Princess Charlotte was taken by The Duchess of Cambridge in mid-May”
Princess Charlotte hasn’t been seen since her birth on May 2, 2015 when the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge stood on the steps of the St. Mary’s Hospital in London.
The princess will be christened on July 5, 2015. The service will be private, with some members of the public be permitted to gather outside. The location for the christening is the same place as Diana, Princess of Wales, William’s mother who died suddenly when William was a young boy, was baptized.
How amazing is it that the Duchess of Cambridge took the beautiful photos of her children and is using them as the official Royal photos? And how cute are the Prince and Princess??
