Video: Colin Farrell Admits to Taking Ecstasy in True Confessions with Vince Vaughn
Vince Vaughn and Colin Farrell are the latest A-list celebrities to appear on True Detective. Following in the footsteps of Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson, the actors will star in an eight episode season of the HBO series. The actors have been appearing on various television talk shows to publicize the show with Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show making the list. The actors participated in an interesting game of True Confessions.
An envelope with a confession is read and it’s up to the other two people to decide if the confession is true or not.
Colin Farrell read his confession, “When I was a late teen I was brought in for questioning as a suspect in an attempted murder.” Jimmy Fallon and Vince Vaughn had 60 seconds to decide if it was true or false – but first they had the opportunity to ask a lot of questions including where it took place, the guys name, what the person looked like and much more! It turns out it was VERY TRUE. Farrell didn’t do it since he was at a party taking ecstasy.
Both Vince Vaughn and Jimmy Fallon’s confessions weren’t nearly as interesting as Colin Farrell’s, with Fallon getting his head caught in a fence and his grandmother getting it out using mayonnaise to squeeze his head out. Vince’s confession was that he commanded the stage in the title role of “The King and I.” It turned out that Vince was the King in the King and I.
In addition to True Confessions with Jimmy Fallon, Vince Vaughn appeared on Good Morning America where he also played a game of truth. This game was a true or false game where Lara Spencer read a fact about his life and Vince had to say true or false. Read the interesting facts below:
You almost turned down the role because you would have had to wear a mustache like Colin Farrell – False
