Tonight marks the last night of auditions on America’s Got Talent for season 10 – and after this it’s on to the elimination rounds!

America's Got Talent Nick Cannon

Judges Heidi Klum, Mel B., Howard Stern, and Howie Mandel will be joined by host Nick Cannon as hopeful contestants give it their all in an effort to make it through to the next round.

In prior weeks we’ve seen tons of amazing acts – from danger acts (including one man jumping off a crane that was as high as an 18 story building!) to pint-sized singers.

Check out tonight’s recap below!

Contestant: Dad-itudes
Talent: Dance Group
Performance Notes: We’re opening the show tonight on a high note! These five dads know how to shake their money makers!
The Results: Howard gave them a no (surprisingly!) saying he didn’t think they were ready for a bigger stage, while Heidi gave them a yes, Mel gave them a “yeah baby,” and Howie pushed them through tot he next round.

Contestant: Scott Chuchson
Talent: Facial and Hand Contortions
Performance Notes: It’s as ridiculous as it sounds – it’s a guy standing on stage making faces and wiggling his fingers. There is no talent here! Somehow he only got one buzzer, even though the crowd was booing him.
The Results: Howard said it started out “kind of fun,” but then he “kind of lost [us].” Four very strong no’s sends him home.

Contestant: Selected of God Choir
Talent: Singing
Performance Notes: Ohhh this sounds lovely. I could fall asleep to this. But in a good way – like a “this is so amazing and peaceful” way. And the audience agreed – every single one of them was on their feet, and the judges looked astounded.
The Results: Mel said she had goosebumps the second they started singing, while Howard – who was the first judge to jump from his seat – said that he had been waiting for something “extraordinary, superior, and perfected” to hit their stage, and this was it. Heidi said it was beautiful while Howie said he loved the “whispers” (me too!). Four “definite yes”es and they’re off!

(I’m just going to jump in here and say that the program is doing something very weird tonight – they’re throwing in a lot of montages of acts without showing us the entire performance, giving us their names, telling us if they made it through… it makes for pretty TV but it’s very hard to blog and I apologize.)

Contestant: Duo Volta
Talent: Trapeze Artists (who used to date, but don’t anymore so … awkwaaaard)
Performance Notes: This was SUPER cool to watch – I actually didn’t take many notes because I was completely mesmerized. So – on with the judging!
The Results: Howie said “everything about it was spectacular,” (except he’s disappointed that the male member of the duo broke up with his female counterpart), while Mel said that it was “really lovely to watch.” Heidi said it was a “beautiful and sexy act,” and Howard – who was also disappointed that they broke up in real life – said they were so perfect together that “we just wish they were still together.” And so – with four yeses… they’re on to the next.
