Bobby Brown Gets Candid on Loss of Bobbi Kristina; Unimaginable
Bobbi Kristina Brown just passed away yesterday and now father Bobby Brown is speaking out over the death of his twenty-two year old daughter. He was by her bedside for most of the time that she was either in an Atlanta hospital or recently, hospice care. He did leave her side to celebrate his birthday with a large entourage of about twenty and to perform at a fourth of July concert. However, he was not emotionally or mentally there at the show as he kept forgetting lines to songs that he has been singing for over two decades. Of course, the crowd understood as there was not much left to be done for his daughter, who was found in a tub on January 31st. She suffered a very similar fate as her famous mother, Whitney Houston, who passed in 2012, right before she was set for a comeback.
The family released a general statement yesterday about the passing of Bobbi: “Bobbi Kristina Brown passed away July 26, 2015, surrounded by her family. She is finally at peace in the arms of God. We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months.” New father Bobby Brown, who welcomed a daughter with wife Alicia Etheredge-Brown, was able to pull himself together enough to make a statement that I am sure he has been dreading for months now: “Krissy was and is an angel. I am completely numb at this time. My family must find a way to live with her in spirit and honor her memory. Our loss is unimaginable. We thank everyone for the prayers for Krissy and our family as we mourn my baby girl.”
It appears that she will be buried next to her mother, according to photos by Radar but an autopsy is being performed probably as we speak. As for her husband/boyfriend/adopted brother Nick Gordon? He learned about Bobbi’s death via the internet and has apparently been on suicide watch. Bobby’s lawyer sent out a statement regarding his client’s well-being and it basically says it all: “Yesterday Bobbi Kristina Brown took her place in heaven. Krissy fought to get well for months, however she has [succumbed] to her injuries.” According to a source that spoke with People, Bobby phoned close ones personally to inform them about his daughter’s passing.
“He is holding it together more than you’d expect. He knew it was coming. Of course he’s very emotional, but at the same time, he knows that Krissy is in a better place now,” according to the source. “He is taking comfort in the fact that she’s with her mother and that there will be no more sadness or pain. She is at peace. He knows that and is taking comfort in that.” We wish the whole family the absolute best during this most difficult and trying time.
