The Catfish crew is used to just about anything and they can pretty much predict a scenario before it happens. There were a few times when they were beaten at their own game because transgender women pretended to be men and that threw everyone off. Fortunately, the ones who had been tricked were understanding and not that upset because it was what was inside that counted. MTV has been catfished for airfare by two people who wanted to meet each other so badly that they would do just about anything (and they did) to get where they wanted to be. A lot of times, I am convinced that this is all a fame game and they know exactly what they are doing. Come on; this show has been on for four seasons and people are not that out of it, especially when it comes to social media.

Last week, a young mother relocated to be with a man that she met online but once she got to her new location, he went missing on her. He also claimed he did not care for children so she did not tell him that she had one. Turned out that he was actually the baby daddy to her best friend and was hitting her up so both women felt betrayed. This show is so frustrating because if they do not want to chat via Skype or deal with you with all the technology we have out there, then isn’t that a giant red flag waving? It would be for me.

Tonight, a woman whose name and pictures were used in a fake profile four years earlier finds that her troubles are not behind her.
