“Catfish: The TV Show” is back with all-new episodes for the summer and if what we have seen so far, this will not disappoint. You can keep up with “Catfish: The TV Show” here.

Nev and Max have been through it all, even getting catfished themselves when two women created a whole story but it was really just so that they could finally meet in person. They had plotted this all along because they did not have the money to meet up with one another so they used MTV to act like they were stuck in a mystery relationship. Nev did some digging and was able to call them out. Of course, he did not have Max for the first few episodes of the season as he was off filming a feature film. But there were guests, some who had personally experienced catfishing so they knew what to look for and what to expect. A lot of hearts were broken this season as people really put themselves out there only to be rejected face to face by the person they thought they loved.

Last week, the producers staged reenactments of certain episodes and one was where someone catfished the whole town. Now that takes skills. It is hard because sometimes I wonder how much is real and how much is fake from what the “stars” have seen on the show in episodes before. But the worst is when it is a vengeful girl trying to get back at an old faux and pulls the ultimate deceit because then I feel like girl power is becoming dead, like chivalry. I really am hoping for some love to come out of this show since there are so many dating sites that promise everlasting love yet we still have this show and cases that Nev and Max deal with on a constant basis.

Tonight, a woman moves across the country to be with the object of her online affection. He, however, is more elusive than ever so enter Nev and Max for the save.

Keep reading to see what is really going on.
