The ESPY’s will take place live at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on July 15, 2015. For the first time in the history of the show, it will air on a major network television station, ABC. It is the 23rd year for the show, celebrating the best moments from the year in sports.

The ESPYS gather top celebrities from sports and entertainment to commemorate the past year in sports by recognizing major sports achievements, reliving unforgettable moments and saluting the leading performers and performances. The 2015 ESPYS will recognize both sport-specific achievements, such as “Best MLB Player” and “Best WNBA Player,” and best-in-sport winners, such as “Best Team” or “Best Female Athlete” that pit nominees from different sports against each other.

Hosted by Joel McHale, the star of ‘The Soup’ and ‘Community’ will open the show with a live monologue that is sure to make fun of the celebrities in the sports industry. That could only mean that Caitlyn Jenner, Jason Paul-Pierre, Danica Patrick and anyone else who has been making headlines lately, will probably be insulted.

Presenters this evening include LeBron James, Ed Helms, Danica Patrick, Andre Iguodala,Vince Vaughn, Britney Spears, Kiefer Sutherland and JJ Watt, Richard Sherman, Britney Spears, Vince Vaughn and many more.

Crown and the M.O.B will perform as the ESPYS house band and there will be a special performance by Fun’s Nate Ruess.

In addition, top athletes and celebrities scheduled to attend include:
Odell Beckham Jr. (New York Giants), Dez Bryant (Dallas Cowboys), Mo’Ne Davis (American Little League Baseball pitcher), Victor Espinoza (Triple Crown Champion jockey), Brett Favre (retired professional NFL player), Rob Gronkowski (New England Patriots), Ken Jeong (Dr. Ken), Derek Jeter (retired professional MLB player), Cardale Jones (Ohio State Buckeyes), Urban Meyer (Ohio State Buckeyes coach), Alex Rodriguez (New York Yankees), Ronda Rousey (UFC Bantamweight Champion), Klay Thompson (Golden State Warriors), Russell Wilson (Seattle Seahawks) and Caroline Wozniacki (professional tennis player).

Also planning to attend The ESPYS are some of soccer’s best players, fresh from their victory at the Women’s World Cup, including: Sydney Leroux, Alex Morgan, Abby Wambach and other members of the U.S. Women’s National Team.

The night’s biggest honors are going to Caitlyn Jenner (Arthur Ashe Courage Award), Leah Still and father Devon Still (Jimmy V Perseverance Award), and Danielle Green (Pat Tillman Award for Service).
