John Stamos has reunited with his Fuller House cast just a day after leaving rehab. It was just last month that he was arrested for DUI in Beverly Hills. He was in such a bad state that police were concerned enough to take him to an emergency room. The star backed out of his commitment to host the Emmy nominations and checked into a rehab facility for substance abuse.

After doing his 30 days, he showed up on the set of Fuller House where he and his friends and former cast mates fell back into the swing of things. Despite the Olsen twins still being on the fence about a return, the rest of the cast were happy to be back together.

Stamos seemed to share in the enthusiasm fans had for Uncle Jesse and Becky. He recently Tweeted a picture of him and Lori Laughlin holding hands saying, “Becky and Jesse together. Forever.” He and Loughlin have often spoken of the special bond they shared sharing that the only reason they never dated was because the timing was off. Stamos had been married to model Rebecca Romijn and Laughlin later married Mossimo Giannulli.

He reportedly cracked a joke about his DUI arrest. When he stepped out on set as Uncle Jesse the audience went nuts. He told them about a scene they were unable to shoot because of a prop car not showing up. Stamos joked with the audience saying, “Well, I have a car…but I can’t drive.” The audience roared.

Stamos first gained popularity as heart throb Blackie Parrish on General Hospital before breaking millions of hearts when leaving the show. There had been talk about the fan favorite returning for the show’s 50th anniversary special though Stamos was unhappy that they wanted him to simply play drums at the Nurse’s Ball. He and head writer Ron Carlivati got into it on Twitter with Carlivati claiming the version Stamos gave was a mischaracterization of the discussion. Stamos shot back calling him “sociopathic.

General Hospital’s loss is Fuller House’s gain. Fans can’t get enough of Uncle Jesse. Now that he’s back with Bob Saget, Candace Cameron Bure, and Lori Loughlin it looks like the fans are getting what they want.
