The Military competitors will vie for a chance to compete in the Las Vegas finals, to win a cash prize of $1,000,000 and the title of “American Ninja Warrior.”
We will be watching to see how Randall Forsythe does this week. He made the final round of the all-military competition comprised of active duty and National Guard troops and military veterans. Forsythe has since moved to a new duty station in Pennsylvania.
Be sure to bookmark us – we will be following to see if anyone makes it into the finals.
He did amazing up until the Salmon ladder. This is the second time he lost ANW because of the salmon ladder. He confessed he didn’t practice the salmon ladder since last year but visualized it.
Contestant: Nathan Tucker
Bartender and Student from Annapolis, Maryland
7 Years in the Navy
Comments: He is a late bloomer athletically. He is super strong. He made it through the transition and got through the one inch ledge. He tries to get over the ramp twice – and the judges make a nasty comment about him looking as though he never climbed the wall before. He got over the wall on the 3rd attempt!! He is the master of the sandal ladder but misses and lands in the water! He will not move on.
Contestant: Christopher Moore
Comments: Failed on I-Beam cross on qualifying. He is doing amazing on the monkey peg. He made it right over the wall that Nathan had a problem with and makes it across the sandal ladder, as well. He is having a problem with the swinging frames and ends up in the water. Another Ninja Warrior who will not be moving to the finals!!
Contestant: Ahmed Toure
Former West Point Cadet
He is a world speed climber.
Comments: Toure is dressed in jeans. Makes it through the cargo net. On to the log runner – – he makes it and is on to the monkey pegs. He makes it through and is onto the I-Beam. He makes it over the wall. The first person to make it to the globe blaster. They are stationary on the way up, but on the way down they move, making it more difficult to grab and Ahmed falls in the water. Another fail!!
Contestant: Vincent Klapper
Former Marine and so is his wife.
He failed on Monkey Pegs in qualifying. Makes it through the cargo net and over the log runner. He is on the monkey pegs and makes it through. On his first attempt at the I-Beam and he fails!!
Contestant: Kyle Durand
Comments: He made it through the cargo net, the log runner and the monkey pegs. He is on to the I-Beam and falls into the water! He will not be moving on to the finals.
Keep reading to see how the rest of the contestants do!!
