Catfish went crazy last week and I think it made me really question ever going online to date…I mean like EVER! Nev and Max got a message from Thad who is in the corrections field and met someone named Sara online. He was having issues with his wife and was contemplating divorce when he found solace within Sara. She was able to understand all his stress and what he was going through but she also had a dark side. Every time they were supposed to meet up, she would claim that she was abducted or had hypothermia. After some online research that make Nev and Max the power couple, they learned that Sara was actually an older, big and tall woman named Ashley. Apparently, she had stolen photos of someone named Sara then went on to catfish a whole bunch of people. They were able to speak with the real Sara and she let it be known that this has taken over her life and she cannot stand it anymore.

Collectively, the four of them decide to go to Oklahoma City to see Ashley who does not answer the door when they get to her house. Finally, she gets in touch with Thad and says that they can meet at a friend’s house. They head out and meet up with her to learn that she is a single mother and has been doing this to escape her life. Thad and Sara tell her that she has caused so much drama in their lives and she finally realizes that she has done wrong by them and apologizes. She says that she will never do it again and they all leave. In the check-in, they learn that Thad is with his wife and they are doing better than ever. But Ashley has not stopped and Sara is wondering if it ever will.

Tonight, a woman wants to meet her online beau, with whom she’s been involved for 10 years.
