Charlize Theron Adopts a Baby Girl – Names her August
Oscar winning actress, Charlize Theron has adopted a baby girl and named her August.
Theron worked with a United States adoption agency to adopted an African-American girl and gained custody in July, according to TMZ.
Theron has always been very open about wanting more children. Even recalling in an interview as a young girl she
wrote a letter to her mother requesting she take her to an orphanage, so she can adopt a baby.”
The actress dated Stuart Townsend for close to 10 years before breaking up and went on to become engaged to actor, Sean Penn. Their relationship ended in June when Charlize suddenly started avoiding the actor. No explanation or statement was ever provided before the couple parted ways. The adoption process has been ongoing for six months, bringing up the question as to whether or not the former couple had planned on adopting the baby together.
While the couple have broken up, they were forced to reunite recently for reshoots of a movie they filmed together, The Last Face. Penn is the director of the film. Maybe he forced the reshoot just so he could see Charlize again?
Charlize Theron has a son named Jackson, who she adopted in 2012.
