Though the big cast reveal for season twenty-one of “Dancing With the Stars” is not happening for a few weeks, we do have some professional details.

E! spoke with Rob Wade, showrunner of DWTS and apparently, not all the paperwork has been signed. Here is what we know: in terms of judges, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli will be back, as well as, the newly engaged former professional dancer Julianne Hough. We will get to that in a moment. As for Len Goodman, the more angry yet still witty judge, is still in limbo as to whether he will salsa his way back to the show. Goodman had said that he was done with the show after last season but this may not be the case. I personally hope that he sticks around because he adds a certain zest to the show that I just adore and it would not feel right without him, like when “American Idol” lost Simon Cowell.

According to Wade: “It’s been back and forth the last year. I said to him, look, see how you feel. I’m waiting. He’s in England, he’s working. I think there’s a good chance he’s not going to back for some of the shows…We’ll see where he lands, we’ll see how his health is, what he wants to do. But whatever happens this season, whether he comes back for some or none, the following season…I’m sure he’d be back for.” Wade added that they are currently seeking out guest judges to fill Goodman’s seat if he decides not to return or will not be back full-time. As for the pros, Derek Hough has not officially decided whether or not he will return. He surprised fans last season by saying that he was not coming back yet went on to shake it with Nastia Liukin but suffered an injury rehearsing for one of the show’s special episodes.

Last season’s winner Val Chmervoskiy has been on board for this season since literally winning the mirror ball trophy and is hoping to have a repeat.

And of course, the other big DWTS news: Julianne Hough is engaged to her NHL boyfriend, Brooks Laich. The twenty-seven year old confirmed the news via Instagram with a pic of her a Laich, along with the caption: “We are overwhelmed with joy and excitement to share with you our recent engagement! #fiancé #love.”

As you may remember, Hough was engaged to another dancing pro Zach Wilson. We wish them nothing but the best and cannot wait to see her back on this season of the show along with many celebs and whichever pros sign on. The celeb announcement will be made on GMA Wednesday, September 2nd. The show begins again on September 14th. Good luck everyone!
