The Battle began with Henson singing Mary J. Blige’s song “Just Fine.” Making sure to leave an impression, Blige joined the singer in singing the song. Henson wore a short blonde wig and a black pantsuit and danced around the stage as she mouthed the words to the song. Following her performance, Howard sang “I’ll Make Love to You” by Boy II Men.

In round number two, Howard sang the song Brick House by the Commodores. For his performance he acted the part, wearing a long black wig, a mesh shirt, black pants and a silver shimmery jacket. Howard was revved up by his performance saying, “This is the craziest night of my life.” Following Howard’s performance, Henson sang one of Madonna’s original songs, Material Girl and dressed the part wearing a big blonde wig and leopard dress.

In a first on Lip Synch Battle the competitors performed a duet together and sang “Hard Out Here For A Pimp,” by Three 6 Mafia.
