Rosie thanked her fans on Twitter saying,

“Thank u all for the help and light”

Chelsea reportedly ran away from home and was last seen by her family on Sunday, August 11th when she left the home with her therapy dog,  a black terrier named Bear.

O’Donnell stated in a statement she posted on her website that Chelsea had stopped taking medication for an undisclosed mental illness and “is in need of medical attention.”

Rosie received support from fellow celebs including, Jimmy Fallon, Christina Applegate, Rose McGowen and James Woods, who all retweeted the search for Chelsea. In addition, Josh Groban posted a message to O’Donnell, “Hoping someone comes forward with info and thinking of Rosie and her family today.”

Rosie had left The View earlier in the year saying she needed to reduce the stress in her life and would be taking care of her health and her family. At the time of the announcement she had just announced she was divorcing her second wife. Following the announcement, her second wife launched a custody battle for their shared 2 year old daughter, Dakota.

Needless to say, O’Donnell has had a lot of stress following her exit from The View. A divorce, custody battle and a sick child is beyond stressful. Hopefully she is doing her best to take care of herself, as well.

There is no news as to whether Chelsea was brought home or is staying some where else. As long as she is safe – that is all that matters.

Dealing with mental illness is beyond challenging and something that needs to be taken very seriously, without judgement. We hope Chelsea gets the help Rosie O’Donnell is trying to provide and gets well soon.
