Ariana Grande Imitates Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera on The Tonight Show
Ariana Grande appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 where the singer and talk show host played a game of Wheel of Impressions.
The game is exactly what it sounds like, either Grande or Fallon pressed a button and a random musical artist and a song appeared. Then it was up to Grande or Fallon to sing the song using the voices of the different singers whose name appeared on the screen. It wasn’t your usual song, but songs like “The Wheels on the Bus” and “Mary Had a Little Lamb.”
Grande was up first with her impression of Britney Spears singing “Mary Had A Little Lamb.” Next, Fallon sang “Cheerleader” as Aaron Neville, using the exact same tones and voice as the singer. Grande’s second song was the perfect impression of Christina Aguilera hitting all the high notes singing “The Wheels On The Bus.” Fallon’s second impression was of Sting singing The Weeknd’s “Can’t Feel My Face.” Grande’s final impression of the evening was imitating Celine Dion while singing “Can’t Feel My Face” as the Canadian singer. Fallon and Grande and Fallon sang a duet of the song as Dion and Sting.
Ariana Grande also announced that she’s releasing her first single, Focus, from her upcoming album on October 30.
Earlier in the day, Grande appeared on Good Morning America where she spoke about the release of her new fragrance, Ari. She also spoke about the incident that occurred over the summer where she she said she hated Americans and had some choice words about fat people.
