Jennifer Garner and Gwyneth Paltrow Spotted Together at Charity Event – Did They Discuss Ben Affleck?
Jennifer Garner and Gwyneth Paltrow joined forces and performed together at a charity event on Friday, September 11, 2015.
While Garner and Paltrow are definitely an interesting combination, what’s even more interesting is that they are both Ben Affleck’s exes. Affleck dated Paltrow for a couple of years before moving on to Jennifer Lopez and finally marrying his future ex-wife, Jennifer Garner.
The event took place in Santa Monica, California. Think It Up is aimed at improving education in America. The first telecast was backed by the Entertainment Industry Foundation and will encourage middle and high schoolers to work on their passion projects; and Think It Up will facilitate possible crowdfunding.
Also at the event was Halle Berry, Seth Meyers, Julie Chen, Terry Crews, Jessica Biel, Justin Bieber and Kacey Musgraves.
This was Jennifer Garner’s first public appearance since announcing she and her husband of 10 years, Ben Affleck will be getting a divorce. Garner and Paltrow recently bumped into each other at a Farmer’s Market in California where according to OK Magazine, Gwyneth approached Garner and was said to have complimented her for being brave enough to get out of her unhappy marriage. She supposedly also said she she understands how difficult divorce is, especially with young kids, and “she was rooting for her.” Since it is all an overheard conversation and OK Magazine reported it, you have to wonder if there is an ounce of truth to it.
Ironically, Jen and Gwyn met up again at the charity event or did they end up exchanging numbers at the Farmer’s Market and decide to meet at the event?
What do you think about Jennifer Garner and Gwyneth Paltrow’s unlikely friendship? Will it work? Gwyneth has a history of having friendship problems. Madonna and Gwyneth were best friends before getting into a fight and Gwyneth and Winona Ryder were super close at one time, before Paltrow was said to have stolen the Oscar Winning part from Shakespeare in Love, from Ryder ending that friendship.
